Here are some funky growths! 🤔 They're #cauliflowergalls on an #ashtree- caused by tiny mites which are so small that they feed on individual tree cells, causing surrounding cells to grow and form galls. Needless to say, you're much more likely to see the gall than the mite! pic.twitter.com/18UT…

Did you know tree roots are generally longer than the tree is tall? This tree was sown in May & it's root system is already huge! These thirsty roots are one reason why trees are so good at reducing flood risk. #HEAL_MicroTreeNurseries #GreenRecoveryChallengeFund #TreeTuesday pic.twitter.com/cYTN…

Been out on the water this weekend? Did you know you could have picked up an invasive and ecosystem destroying hitchhiker on your travels? Help stop the spread and make sure you #CheckCleanDry - every time. pic.twitter.com/AIAu…

Tempted to cool of in the water this weekend? Never swim or dive in quarries or industrial sites- cold water shock kills. If you do swim in rivers never go too deep, check the currents, take a buddy, and remember- alcohol and swimming don't mix! pic.twitter.com/09mT…
